The advent and rising popularity of the Christian Newspaper holds testimony to the fact of people becoming more attuned and interested in the workings of the world in coherence to God’s plan. People are becoming, let’s say, more religion savvy! People have begun to believe and have faith after some recent events which shook humanity. Christian newspapers can be found both as normal newspapers and Internet ‘e-papers’. The Internet being the more popular media amongst people, it is the ‘e-papers’ which have gained much popularity and viewership. The Christian sites which put up Christian news are non-profit. They deliver the news and other information from a biblical point of view. They aim at delivering honest and true news and try to spread the healing and benevolent light of the Christian culture through the web. Christian news report news on areas covering Missions, Education, Health, Travel, Church, Ministries, Entertainment and Opinion pieces etc. Some also contain sermons and excerpts from the Bible and/or the scriptures.



A Christian Newspaper basically operates on the following beliefs:



* It believes in the authoritative power of the Bible for inspiration as it is the Word of God himself.



* It believes God to be omnipresent and eternally present in the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.



* It believes in Jesus—His virgin birth, His miracles, His sinless deeds, His resurrection and subsequent ascension.



* It believes it to be necessary that salvation, through regeneration by the Holy Spirit, is necessary for the souls of people who have sinned.



* It believes in the presence of the Holy Spirit by whose power the evil spirits are kept at bay and we are able to live in God’s grace.



* It believes that those who ask for forgiveness are resurrected to life and those who don’t are resurrected to eternal damnation.



* It believes that the spirits and souls of all the believers of Christ are united on a spiritual and sub-conscious level.



This form of media has been devised so as to bring a sense of unity to all Christians all over the world—an attempt and coordinate all churches and the Christian community. It also aims to be a family newspaper which can be perused by ALL members of the family and does not require to be hid.
